- Enzymes are the spark of life for your horse. Enzymes are
energized protien molecules that have a necessary role in all
the biochemical activities of your horses digestive system. Enzymes
are catalyst substances that accelerate and precipitate thousands
of biochemical reactions in your horses life and immune process.
If your horse does not have optimum numbers of enzymes, the Biochemical
reactions take place at a very slow pace, therefore your horse
will sustain life at a much slower rate. Each enzyme has a specific
function that no other enzyme can fulfill and your horses body
must produce massive numbers of different enzymes.
-
- #1 Digestive enzymes breakdown feed particles for energy
storage in the liver or muscles. This stored energy is later
utilized by other enzymes for energy use when necessary. Iron
is concentrated in the bloodstream by the enzymatic actions of
enzymes. Other enzymes in the blood help the blood to coagulate
in order to stop bleeding. Uricolytic enzymes convert uric acid
into urea, respiratory enzymes facilitate the elimination of
carbon dioxide toxins from the horse body.
-
- Enzymes also utilize the nutrients ingested by your horse
to construct new muscle tissue, nerve cells, bone, skin and glandular
tissue. The function of enzymes are so many and diverse that
it is impossible to name them all. Enzymes are divided into two
groups: #1 Digestive, and #2 Metabolic workers that build body
from protiens, carbohydrates, amino acids and fats.
-
- Your horse must have a minimum of 1400 enzymes facilitating
your horse to function at optimum capabilities. The 1400 enzymes
are only available from whole grains that have never been processed
at a temperature above 118'F. If the grains are cooked, steam
rolled, or processed too hot there are no enzymes available.
-
- Yeast is a very necessary essential nutrient. It is a single
cell organism that can multiply at extremely rapid rates doubling
in number per hour. Yeast is also rich in many basic nutrients
such as the B vitamin family as well as 16 amino acids and at
least 14 different minerals. Yeast is also high in phosphorous.
-
- Live microbial lactobacillus acidophilus and bacillus subtiles
are the aerobic or anaerobic bacteria that enhances your horses
immune system. Your horse must contain 10 to 15 times the amount
of friendly bacteria cells than the overall number of body cells.
An 1100 lb. horse should contain a minimum of 30 trillion friendly
bacteria in his or her intestinal tract.
